Every year, our schools National Science Honor Society holds a STEM Day, where all of the 4th and 5th grade students from the elementary school are invited up to the high school to see various different science related stations, and for the past few years our team has had the honor to run one of those stations where the kids get to watch us test our robot. This STEM Day we added a new twist, in addition to our competition robot we also added a drive base for the kids to drive themselves, this gets the kids excited about robotics and hopefully inspires them to join the team once they get to high school.
